For the protection for our employees, the local community and the environment, CASS has committed to only using alloy processes that do not require poisonous chemicals. Through careful blending of raw materials, we have achieved marketable alloys that do not negatively impact the environment. Currently, we are the only aluminum ingot maker that can boast this claim. While other alloy makers choose to avoid this important responsibility to their employees, community and the environment, CASS does not. | We also believe in promoting conservation in all of our processing methods. One hundred percent of our furnace by-products are shipped to one of our affiliates, where they are processed and used for one of our product lines. The development of these product lines eliminates any waste stream liabilities to our suppliers and the environment. This is yet another claim no other secondary aluminum ingot producer can make.
