Essential Impact
We believe our manufacturing process should be as exceptional as the people who make our products. At CASS we support the ideology of sustainable farming such as avoiding the use of pesticides & chemicals as well as consuming organic produce. This has inspired us in our approach to producing "organic" aluminum. Organic aluminum is FLUX-FREE, CHEMICAL-FREE, and CHLORINE-FREE.

No Chlorine
Chlorine is a highly toxic & corrosive gas yet, many secondary aluminum producers use chlorine gas or chlorine containing fluxes. Chlorine has been used in chemical warfare and is known to have a kill radius of 2 miles and that is a risk CASS will never take!

No Chemicals
To reduce costs, an increasing number of secondary aluminum producers choose nitrogen in their degassing process. To guarantee a superior product made in a safe and environmentally friendly way, CASS uses argon - a colorless, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic noble gas that can provide an inert & clean environment free of problematic elements.

No Fluxes
We have chosen not to use fluxes in the removal of magnesium and the purification of molten aluminum from oxides and hydrogen. Instead we blend down the magnesium using higher purity material. This practice requires us to be more diligent but results in a secondary marketable product that is CHLORINE-FREE.
